Van Trailer Rental — Montana, Wyoming & North Dakota

Need more storage space than a standard shipping container — or the ability to move your goods without calling for a pickup? A van trailer rental from Mobile-Stor gives you a large, enclosed, road-ready storage solution delivered directly to your property.

Van trailers are popular with businesses that need temporary overflow storage, contractors moving equipment between job sites, and operations that want the flexibility to move their storage unit without scheduling a separate haul.

Van Trailer Questions

Can a van trailer be moved once it's placed?

Yes. Unlike a fixed shipping container, a van trailer can be hooked up and repositioned with a tractor. If you anticipate needing to move it during your rental, let us know and we'll make sure the unit is accessible.

How is a van trailer different from a shipping container?

Van trailers are built for highway transport — they're lighter and easier to move, but generally less rugged than a marine-grade steel shipping container. Containers are better for long-term stationary storage and can be modified with HVAC, shelving, and electrical. Trailers are better when dock-height access or mobility matters.

Do you deliver to businesses in Billings, Bozeman, and other Montana cities?

Yes. We deliver van trailers to businesses and properties across Montana, Wyoming, and North Dakota. Our primary service areas include Billings, Bozeman, Missoula, Great Falls, Helena, Kalispell, Butte, Sidney, Watford City, Williston, and Sheridan.

What's the largest van trailer available?

We carry standard 53-foot enclosed van trailers, which provide approximately 2,300–2,500 cubic feet of storage space — equivalent to two or more standard moving trucks. We also have 48-foot units available.

Can I store temperature-sensitive goods in a van trailer?

Standard van trailers are not temperature-controlled. If you need refrigerated storage, we offer reefer containers that maintain temperatures from -20°F to +70°F. Ask us about refrigerated container options when you call.
