Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to the questions we hear most often. If you don't see what you're looking for, just give us a call — we're always happy to talk through your situation and help you find the right solution.
Shipping Containers
What sizes of shipping containers do you offer?
We carry 10-foot, 20-foot, and 40-foot shipping containers. The 20-foot is our most popular size and works for most residential and commercial storage needs. The 40-foot is ideal for larger job sites or high-volume storage.
What's the difference between a new and used container?
New containers (one-trip) have only made a single ocean voyage and are in near-perfect condition. Used containers show surface wear but are still structurally sound and watertight. For most storage applications, a used container is a great value.
Can you deliver to my ranch / farm / remote location?
Yes — it's one of our specialties. We deliver across Montana, Wyoming, and North Dakota, including rural properties, ranches, oilfield locations, and sites that larger companies won't touch. Call us with your address and we'll give you a straight answer.
How much does it cost to rent a shipping container?
Pricing depends on container size, condition (new vs. used), rental term, and delivery distance. We don't post fixed prices because every situation is different — give us a call or submit a quote request and we'll get you an honest number quickly.
Do you offer rent-to-own?
Yes. Ask us about applying rental payments toward a purchase.
Are the containers secure and weatherproof?
Yes. All of our containers are wind-and-watertight with a standard locking door. We also offer containers with lockboxes for added security.
Mobile Offices
What types of mobile offices do you have?
We offer office trailers, on-ground offices, modular offices, and office-storage combination units. See our Mobile Offices page for details on each type.
Do I need a permit to put a mobile office on my property?
Permit requirements vary by city and county. In many rural areas, no permit is required for a temporary unit. We recommend checking with your local planning office — and we're happy to help answer questions based on our experience in the region.
How long can I rent a mobile office?
As long as you need. There's no maximum rental term.
Refrigerated Containers
What power supply do refrigerated containers require?
Most of our refrigerated containers (reefers) run on 460V/3-phase power. If you don't have that available on-site, we can pair the unit with a generator. Let us know your site setup and we'll recommend the right solution.
What temperature range can a reefer container maintain?
Our refrigerated containers can hold temperatures from approximately -20°F up to +70°F, making them suitable for frozen goods, fresh produce, beverages, and temperature-sensitive materials.
Can I rent a reefer for a short-term event?
Yes. We offer short-term rentals for festivals, catering operations, outdoor events, and other temporary needs. Tell us your event dates and location and we'll work out logistics and pricing.
Are reefer containers suitable for pharmaceutical or vaccine storage?
Refrigerated containers can maintain the tight temperature ranges required for many pharmaceuticals and vaccines. If you have specific temperature compliance requirements, call us — we'll go over the unit's capabilities and help you determine if it meets your needs.
Do you offer generator options if I don't have 3-phase power?
Yes. If your site doesn't have 460V/3-phase power available, we can provide a generator package to keep your reefer running. This is common for remote job sites, ranches, and event locations. Ask us about generator add-ons when you request a quote.
