Common Questions
What power does a refrigerated container need?
Reefer containers require a 460V three-phase electrical connection. If you don't have access to this, generator rental options are available. Standard containers with wall-mounted AC units use standard 110V or 220V single-phase power.
Can I store medications or vaccines in a reefer container?
Yes, provided proper temperature protocols are maintained and appropriate monitoring is in place. Many healthcare operations in remote areas use our refrigerated containers for exactly this purpose.
What's the difference between a reefer container and an insulated container?
A reefer container has an active refrigeration system that maintains a set temperature regardless of outside conditions. An insulated container slows temperature change but doesn't actively heat or cool. For precise temperature control, a reefer is the right choice.
